I’ve got Paris on the mind lately, probably because I’ve been reading Julia Child’s My Life in France as well as my friend Lady Gouda’s posts.  

While that’s been happening we’ve declared this The Summer of Food Trucks. Leave it to The New York Times to pull it all together with this article on the growing food truck scene in Paris. Seems the US, Brooklyn in particular, is exporting culture in a major way and turning traditional Parisian food on its heels. American chefs battling with famed French bureaucracy and a cultural taboo against eating on the street in the name of serving great burgers and tacos? Someone send Anthony Bourdain over there to document this with sardonic humor, preferably someone other than ABC
